Yesterday, while my family and I were eating dinner at our favorite local Chinese restaurant, I saw the script on the bottom of their t.v. screen showing breaking news of a fairly recent theft of guns. These guns are supposed to be in a holding area, held until they are no longer needed as evidence in court proceedings. In the meantime, several guns have been stolen from this holding area. One was found in the hands of a drug dealer. Many have already turned up in the hands of criminals, instead of where they belong - - in the holding area. This is just one of many examples of how criminals will get a hold of a gun whether its legal or not. Like I've said many times before: criminals will get a hold of guns no matter what it takes. Do we really want to give up our right to bear arms, when those who mean to harm us won't?
