Studies show that a well balanced diet, along with foods enriched with vitamin A, E and beta-carotene may help. Also reducing the amount of meat consumed and eating meals high in fiber are said to be key factors. Another study is looking into the cruciferious vegetables. These include broccoli and cauliflower. These studies have said that men eating these types of vegetables more than once a week were 40% less likely to develop prostate cancer. The reason for this lies in the plant chemical makeup.
