Proud to Snitch
posted September 2, 2009 - 4:24amI have called the police (when the bloke upstairs was beating his girlfriend), social services (about a woman who neglected her children) and reported neighbours for dumping rubbish. I've stolen animals from people who treat them badly.

I expect certain standards and common decency is one of them - I don't consider myself a snitch but can't ignore matters. If I'm labelled a snitch I'd rather that than complacent or a conspirator with any form of abuse - bring it on!
Protecting Children Should be Society’s Main Purpose
Sex offenders have lost the right to certain human rights and should either be kept jailed or at least be investigated from time to time to ensure they're not carrying out such hideous crimes as imprisoning children. So many children go missing, how many are held in similar circumstances?
Police Priorities Wrong
The police should stop messing around enforcing drug laws - legalise all that - and work on matters like this. Protecting children should be society's main purpose. Cases like that of Jaycee Lee Dugard should teach us something but I doubt they will.
