As many people know, Johnny Depp has been in many decently rated movies. Movies like "Pirates of the Carribean" and many other award winning favorites. Johnny Depp's most recent film Public Enemies was in my opinion, one of his worst in a while. There were three things about this movie, that made it one of Johnny's worst. First off all of the characters were "lacking character." Almost every character in the movie was all around dull. For a bankrobber and his possey, they seemed to normal. The second thing that did it for me was the fact that Christian Bale and Johhny Depp didnt get many chances to face off. They were both the best of good and bad, and in the movie there was only one faceoff between them! And finally the the deal sealer for me was the moral of the whole movie. I didnt undersatnd what the whole point of the movies was. Was it that crime doesnt pay? Or to keep your friends close and your enemies closer? The movie doesnt really give the feeling of a certain moral. In my opinion the moral of the movie was that the man always wins.
