Public Services Commission of the Virgin Islands will Meet today on Whether to Accept or Reject User Fees

November 28, 2007, - Today at 5:00 0'clock this evening at their Barbel Plaza office in St. Thomas, the PSC will meet with Waste Management Officials. The meeting on whether to accept or deny the proposed user fee schedule will be the hot topic this evening.

Since the user fee proposal by waste management authority has sparked major controversy in the Virgin Islands, all eyes are on the PSC. Many residents are hoping that the PSC deny the fees due to the escalating gas and oil prices, that will raise electrical bills by 30%.
