Quality Stocks Trading Below Their Book Value

Standard & Poor's has identified a number of companies whose shares are trading below their book value. "Book value," the article notes, "indicates the theoretical dollar amount per common share you might expect to receive from a company's tangible "book" assets should liquidation take place."

Book value can be a good measure for determining the value of a company and whether it's price is attractive.
