I've asked the Wizard of Xoz (an omniscient being, or a little man behind the curtain?) about adding to this site a chatroom function. I'm not sure what that entails, but I figure the brains behind Xomba can sort it out.

Like other writers, I enjoy posting, sharing, reading and learning from others' pieces. I also enjoy adding and reading comments. Sometimes there is a lively back-and-forth, and that's where a chatroom would be handy. It would give us that immediacy and the feeling that we're all here together (as much as a chatroom can, anyway).

But I suppose one of the main considerations would be: Is there a need, a demand for such a chatroom? Of course, it's not a NEED for us; we can get along fine without it. But if a chatroom is more than just one writer's want, then it'd be something to look into.
