Race Doesn't Matter for Breast Cancer Relapses

US News reports that new studies show that "there was no statistical difference in the percentages of patients who"  [were declared cancer-free after chemotherapy and proper treatment].  This positive trend seems to reverse previous beliefs that race was a factor in breast cancer survival rates.

"The rate was 12.3 percent in white patients, 12.5 percent in black patients, 14.2 percent in Hispanic patients and 11.5 percent in patients of other races."
