Rain In Los Angeles - Drivers Baffled!
posted November 30, 2007 - 12:32pmYou'd think with all the Doppler 7000+ Radar Weather Satellite Gadgets that these so-called weatherman have at their disposal we might actually get an accurate forecast these days. You'd think wrong.
All week the "meteorologists" here in Los Angeles have been saying there might be a chance of rain on Saturday. Well guess what, folks? It's Friday. And it's raining. And this is bad news for the millions of commuters in the LA area.
Since rain here is scarce, whenever there is the slightest drizzle in Southern California drivers are completely dumbstruck.
Maybe it's because we so rarely see rain that people slow down to soak it all in, if you will.
Maybe drivers go extra slow because they are trying to steer while scrambling for their car manual in an effort to locate the windshield wiper controls?
Maybe it's because most people who drive in Los Angeles are morons in the first place that they get even more befuddled when you add water?
I can't wait for the drive home.
