Ramadan has got a date with football

At about this time, the Islamic world is involved in the Ramadan fast. So what has football got to do with the fast.
All devoted muslims are expected to partake in the fast, even the footballers among them. A sport as demandinf as football requires that players are strong, and eat regularly to remain fpt.
But when football players engage in fast, they tend to be a bit fragile compared to their counterparts who are not involved in any religious fasting.
Therefore, it is necessary for us to respect the religion of the players involved in the fast, and also to help them not to involve in extreme and hard football training and drilling during this time.
Most muslim predominant nations are calling for the change of time in matches that have been schedule before now to take place after the fast.
It is certain that football has an issue with Ramadan.
