Rare Facts About Hollywood Walk of Fame: a Conglomerate of Brass, Terrazzo, & Dreams

Worldwide fascination with American film and stage stars, television and radio personalities, and recording artists has made The Hollywood Walk of Fame, with its 2000-plus terrazzo-&-brass stars, a year-round tourist attraction— even though some of the stars are damaged, possibly from the Metro or from thermo-expansion. But not to worry. Until a long-term plan of conservation is concocted, stars that become damaged— or stolen (at least four thus far)— are replaced almost without delay. Why? Because those stars mean money not just from the tourist industry but also from an ambitious sales program.

For largely-unknown facts and fascinating trivia about these stars, read About the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Michael Jackson Star, & a Cup of Coffee. Because somewhere over the rainbow, the Walk's stars are more than just terrazzo and brass. They embody the dreams of legendary celebrities.
