Recession ! is the worst over.. hmm.. yes and no

This is an interesting article which argues on whether the recovery process  from the recession has started or it's just a temporary surge which the global financial markets are seeing.

Is it the beginning of the end !!!

The article tries to put forward arguements and ends with a work of caution regarding the state of the markets.

To the right of the page are interesting stories as to how other countries are recoverring slowly but surely.

I tend to agree with you ,

I tend to agree with you , figures/stats may not reflect the true picture sometimes , becoz inevitably the ground situation is different. It varies from country to country as each nation has it's own set of issues besides recession.

These issues can vary from poverty to unemployment , inequality etc .

But lets hope there is light at the end of the tunnel.. and we get through :)

The Calm Before the Storm...

I tend to believe there is simply a calm going on right now before the true storm hits. I think the storm will entail the unemployed running out of state benefits. This is especially true in merciless states like the one I'm currently living in. Many people I have met recently are down to their last few checks before unemployment benefits run out. I also see increased activity around town, people buying worthless trinkets, but before long I think that will pass once the stimulus money has ran out, and the unemployment checks stop flowing.
