recipe - creamy herbal vegetable dip

Put a bowl of this out with a platter of fresh vegetables and watch them disappear. A good choice for parties, after school snacks, lunch, appetizers, watching TV, and potlucks.

You can vary the taste of it each time you make it by using different herbs to flavor it, however the original recipe is the best.

This dip is soooooooo good served with a fresh raw vegetable tray, cooked steamed vegetables, or as a topping for baked potatoes. Thin it down a bit with a little milk and use as a salad dressing over crispy greens.

1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup low fat sour cream OR
1 cup low fat plain yogurt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried dill weed

Combine mayonnaise and sour cream. Stir in seasonings and mix well. Chill. Makes about 2 cups.
