Recipe - Finger Foods - Appetizers - New Years, Super Bowl, Party - Clam Dip

Party time is coming up. Whether it be for New Years, for the Super Bowl, or for any other party, you will need some good food to serve to your guests.
Here is a great party recipe to start with.

Clam Dip

1 cup minced clams
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
1/4 cup clam liquid
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons chopped onion
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Few drops Tabasco pepper sauce
1 loaf round bread

Soften cream cheese with clam juice, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in remaining ingredients.

Cut out center of round bread and form chunks from inside of loaf. When ready to serve, pour clam dip into hollowed out bread. Serve with bread chunks.

Makes about 2 cups.
