This is a interesting subject for me as I always have recurring dreams and I am not sure what they mean. Anyone with any insight on the subject of dreams and the meaning of dreams. I guess its possible there is no meaning behind a dream. Okay so my most frequent recurring dream is of a major major tidal wave. I don't think it would effect me so much if my two little girls weren't part of this particular dream. But I can vividly see if coming and I just have this gut-wrenching feeling that feels so real. My 12 yr old daughter is usually looking at me with these big eyes of pure horror and my lil 8 yr old whom does not know how to swim is in my arms clutching at my neck and I am telling her to hold on and not let go and that I wont let go of her either and then the tidal wave hits and of course my 8 yr old is ripped from my arms. After being hit by the wave its like the water calms and I am swimming frantically looking for my girls and sometimes the ending can be different, but the most recurring ending is I find my 12 yr old daughter swimming near by but I find my little 8 yr old floating face down. Thats when I usually wake up frantic. Its the most awful feeling in the whole world and leaves me sick to my stomach for the rest of the day. I just don't understand why I would have this dream over and over again. I used to live in San Diego on the coast and thankfully I do feel much better now that I live in Colorado. Unfortunately for my family you will never catch me on a cruise much to my family's dismay. Hopefully some of you will share any recurring dreams you may have or if anyone out there knows maybe why or what this means.
