The Refinement and the Bible

The Bible says in Isaiah 48:10,'I have refined you ,but not as silver but in the furnance of affliction'.

I would like to concentrate on two words here 1)furnance and 2)refined.

God explains the quality of the furnance as 1)a blazing fire ,Daniel3:6,2)a smoky fire Rev 9;2 and as 3)a burning one Deut4:20.

What do you mean by refining?
Isa 1:25 says,His hands are turned towards us skimming of our slag and removes all our impurities.

How does God refines us?
Jermiah 9:7 says By melting us.

Why He refines us?
1)Jer 6:27,so that we become a tester of others.
2)Zec 13:9 ,so that we can call upon His name and He may help us and
3)Mal 3:3 ,so that He watches over us to see what sort of offering we give to Him.

So,get prepared to be refined and to receive the blessing. In the process of refinement sometimes we may get wearied and tired but God will give us the strength to overcome. He will carry us through to that eternal life after the process of refinement. He will enable us to carry the cross and run the show.
