I Found Reincarnation in the Bible
posted September 7, 2008 - 3:29amI’m a devote lover of Jesus and I finally put two, two, and two together and came to the conclusion of reincarnation.
First of all Jesus calls us to carry our cross daily.
Lk 9:23 Then he said to them all: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.
And then in Romans 8:11-13 Paul writes:
Ro 8:11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.
Ro 8:12 Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation—but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it.
Ro 8:13 For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live,
If we put the above passages together; we are to die daily.
Then if we add passages from the Book of John:
Jn 3:3 In reply Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.’
Jn 3:4 “How can a man be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb to be born!”
Jn 3:5 Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.
Jn 3:6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
Jn 3:7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’
What is the process of reincarnation? Isn’t it the process that once you die you are born again, and hopefully as a more enlightened being. So, here we have the process of reincarnation in the Bible: we pick up our cross and put to death our sinful earthly nature daily and the Spirit gives birth to our spiritual, God and man loving, nature.
Wow, this is amazing. You too can be born again today. All us Christians have to do is be united with Christ on the Cross, putting to death our sinful nature, crucifying our own desires, and calling out to God for His will to be done and not ours. Just think about it Christian, you too can be reincarnated into the image of Jesus today. Wow! What an amazing thought. Just think of it, you too can be born again today and you don’t even have to wait 2 minutes to 100 years (depending on when your physical life will end) to be transformed into the image of God. Just think, you can demonstrate God to the whole world by dying to your flesh and so you get reincarnated today and become a born again image of the Crucified Lord of Glory.
All praise to the Lamb who was slain!
Just think of all the other spiritual people we can talk with, about our new found belief in reincarnation, revealed in the Bible. Wow, just think they don't have to wait years till they die to be reincarnated. Well, they still do with Christ on the Cross. Oh just think, this is awesome, just think of how powerful it would be to them if we actually demonstrated every day the reality of being born, instead of just talking to them about it. Wow, an image of the "re-incarnation" of the cross, Wow, preaching by living it, what a concept.
True Godly love. Wow. How many people today are actually looking for love that is actually interested, concerned, and desiring their good with no ulterior motives, that loves them like God loves you. Wow, a demonstration of God's love in the flesh. Well, I don't know. Who would be willing to go around looking like a lamb that was slain? I don't know, would you like to be reincarnated in the image of a slain lamb?
Rev 5:6 Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
Rev 5:7 He came and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne.
Rev 5:8 And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
Rev 5:9 And they sang a new song:“ You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.
Rev 5:10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”
Rev 5:11 Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders.
Rev 5:12 In a loud voice they sang: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!”
Rev 5:13 Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!”
Rev 5:14 The four living creatures said, “Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped.
Ro 6:4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
Ro 6:5 If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection.
Ro 6:6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin—
Ro 6:7 because anyone who has died has been freed from sin.
Ro 6:8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.
Ro 6:9 For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.
Ro 6:10 The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.
Ro 6:11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
Ro 6:12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires.
Ro 6:13 Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness.
Ro 6:14 For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.
Phil 2:5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
Phil 2:6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
Phil 2:7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
Phil 2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross!
Phil 2:9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,
Phil 2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
Phil 2:11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Rev 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.

(Note: This author in no way condones, supports, or suggests any physical harm to the physical body of one's self or others. The author is talking of taking captive, denying, and putting to death, the nature, emotions, and actions of the nature that is inside you that wants to do evil. This is done through the cross of Jesus Christ in prayer, repentance, picking up your cross, and denying yourself daily, then you too can become a daily born again believer.)

People Ideally 'Die' for about 8 Hours a Night
One of the original Biblical words for 'dying' can also be translated 'sleeping.' I think most of the 'resurrection' the Bible talks about is spiritual---'death' of the body being "when the Spirit leaves it" (you recall that--at the moment Jesus Christ died--He was said to have 'given up the Ghost' ... 'Holy Ghost' being another term for 'Holy Spirit,' in case any readers don't know).
'Heaven' is the Knowing---knowing that--however immobile we people may become in whatever bodies we inhabit--those we love- & those they love-are still walking paths of righteousness.
