Remembering Mahatma Gandhi on his 140th B'day.

Today India with whole World celebrating the 140th B'day of Mahatma Gandhi, whose real name was Mohandass Karamchand Gandhi. It is a matter of great joy for every person who like Gandhi ji and his teachings that The UN has declared 2nd oct. the INTERNATIONAL DAY OF NON-VIOLENCE in the honour of Mahatma Gandhi. We all have to follow the path of truth and non-violenceshown by Bapu(Indians often called him Bapu).Gandhiji's often says "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others".
More than half a century after his death, Mahatma Gandhi remains, as always, the symbal of individual courage and righteousness, against the forces of the state. His example inspired Luther King and black Americans to organize the civil rights campaign of the 1960's At a later date Nelson Mandela testified to have come under the same influence.Remembering Gandhi ji we can say that, "We need to pay more heed to the basic principles of Gandhian philosophy if we are to come out of this quagmire".
Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru once said about Mahatma Gandhi,"The light that shone in this country was no ordinary light...
and a thousand years later that light will still be seen
...and the World will see it."
This statement seems to be true Today as The whole world is celebrating his B'day as The International Day of Non-violence.
We are proud on him, He was really a great man.
