Replacing Golf Grips

Replacing Golf Grips

Learning how to replace golf grips is easier than you think. What you need is a few tools to make your job a lot easier. First get a vise something strong that will hold the golf shaft in place. Then you need something to heat the old grip up with so that you can remove it with minimal effort. I like to use a hair dryer to loosen up the glue from the old golf grips. You will also need some glue or self adhesive so that the new grip will adhere.

Replacing Golf Grips begins with having these tools and getting the right combination of tools and knowledge. First place the golf club shaft in the vise. After you've tightened the vise to the golf shaft make sure you haven't done it too tight or you will reck you shaft.

Finally, heat the old golf grip with a hair dryer to loosen the glue that holds it in place. After the clue is hot remove the old grip. Then replace the grip with glue and the new grip you purchased.
