The Republican stimulus is a Tax Cut and a Tax Credit -- Not Jobs, Relief for American Families!

TO any readers of this posting, I am sorry that Xomba's choice was to prevent additional comments from being posted. The comment stream was fascinating, and one thing led to another. It was not inappropriate, and all those interested in learning about the Republican approach should listen to Obama's speech to a joint session of congress, and compare it the Bobby Jindal failure speech. Jindal is kinda like Rush, a bad joke.

But this posting was a real swinger and targeted and flagged for posting things that were never posted. But I do suggest the author be given the job of moderating postings to his own postings, because this posting is just satirical humor. Well, it was a real swinger of a posting and lots of people were posting to it. I'm going to write another satire about Republican intelligence -- because in this time with the demonstration of Republican Sneering and sniggering and missing the connections to their electorate -- one must look at their IQ's collectively and individually. It looks from here that there were only three Republican's left, Snow, Collins and Specter. And today RNC leader was talking seriously about stopping their campaign funding in the next election. That shows real intelligence?

Republican stimulus Tax Cut and Tax Credit. Relief for American Families!

Tax Cut and Credits -- The Republican's Lipstick!

How many people can you put "back to work" with a Republican Tax Cut?

Really? Can you feed your family with a Tax Credit or a Tax Cut? Can you buy peanut butter?

Will these cuts and credits pay the gasoline bill? How many credits or cuts does it take to buy food. Would a JOB work better than a Tax Cut to feed the American family?

Would a Tax cut help ward off a foreclosure, or would a JOB -- doing something, building something the American Community would have for a few generations be a better way to stimulate the economy . . .?

Will the Republican Tax Cut or Tax Credit "pay" for the Mortgage? How about the electricity?

Will the Republican Tax cut cover the medical or doctor bills?

The biggie is this: Will the Tax credit or TAX CUT pay the credit cards I've had to support the family with?

How about getting an income tax break for all the credit card interest. You know encourage people to spend money and carry a balance, since without a job, that balance keeps climbing. If Credit Card users could get a benefit from the interest credit card companies and banks charge, a deduction like we used to get; they could reduce their taxes, have more money to create jobs. . . sure.

Ask your Republican Compassionate Conservative Senator just how the tax credit or tax cut will put money immediately in your pocket to pay your bills? This month. Or next month if you can survive that long?

Remember their names, their faces. Their "stimulus" programs. Next time vote them out.

Really. But while you still have a phone, whose bill you just can't seem to pay, call their staff and ask them how their plan will buy your family bread next week.

Yeah. Lipstick on a pig.

==================================
But wait! For brief moment, I thought the Republicans might have relevance. I was reading this, below:

The Car Credit.

I read an article that was quickly taken down from the web on how to "feed the entire family" with the Republican Tax Credit and Tax cut. I was really interested in that!

Peanut Butter Swaps, Toxic assets. Another Republican Plan.

I was learning about ways to get some of the recalled peanut butter and peanut butter products from the businesses that had to recall the products thought to be carrying live, potent Salmonella bacteria. The Republican approach I read was to arrange something like a credit default swap, or something like those toxic assets swaps where you traded peanut risk for the means to get rid of the product. The neat thing was the way you could swap a worthless old junker automobile for the deadly peanut product, and on paper it balanced out transparently.Like win win!

If I understood the Republican author of the article, you contacted the grocery chain in your area to acquire the tainted, salmonella-containing or suspected peanut butter product, and convinced management in the food chain to accept an older car as a deposit for his risk on the peanut butter. You could mention your license as a disposal operation, even if you didn't have such a thing; and how your partners were connected with waste management kinds of operations. After delivery of the older car to the grocery chain manager and pickup of the peanut butter, the food chain would call FDA and let them know that the tainted peanut products had been safely shipped to a reclamation site for decontamination, and disposal. Your local landfill's address would be used.

Part of the Republican Jobs Plan.

Now this next part confused me. If I remember right, you had a series of two or three cheap microwave ovens, and you hired day-labor, non-English speaking help to microwave box after box after package after package of peanut product. You nuked all products to heat them, pasteurize, them so to speak, and kill them nasty Bacteria. With a "stamp" your help used -- the solution to the problem was easily concluded. The stamp warranted each product as examined and certified bacteria free, and a consumable product. These once toxic assets could be sold in neighborhoods at almost face value. . .just like one of the Republican bailouts.

I was just about to read the next paragraph on how to AIG the liability, when my wife called me to do something and when I got back, my automatic site refresh had wiped the screen clean. . .

As I thought later about this, with my incomplete grasp of the next step, I realized there probably were aspects of scam and skim to this plan.

Yeah. It might yet be legal. Not honorable, but very Republican.

It showed those you dealt with that you were better than them -- just like a Republican is expected to be! Better than the rest!

I found a little more out about the deadly peanuts. No wonder they took that site down!

DEVELOPMENTS in Peanuts! Congressional humor!

Q.
Do you and your Peanuts make Campaign Contributions to both parties?

A.
I take the Fifth.

Q.
Do you wish to express remorse for the sicknesses and deaths of people who were sickened and killed by the Salmonella now clearly and directly linked to your processing plants, in several cases, by unique Salmonella DNA identification? Nine people died from your product.

A.
I take the Fifth.

Q.
Did you think you could get away with this? Nine deaths?

A.
I take the Fifth.

Q.
We have an affidavit from an employee at your peanut processing plant wherein he states you were visiting and he showed you where he was being forced, by his supervisor, to sweep and shovel raw shelled peanuts from the floor and walk space into the food stream below the sterilization unit -- and that he showed you the peanuts on the floor, being walked on, and that you spat on the peanuts on the floor, crushed them with your shoes, and relieved the mucous from your nose on to the peanuts; then you used his broom and shovel to carry the peanuts to the place where you dumped them into the product food stream, and then fired him. Is this true?

A. Absolutely not! Not me! His supervisor may have fired him.

========
The investigation continues.

Peanuts are a world class food. With enough credits and tax cuts maybe you can corner the salmonella free part of it.

So eeyor copied it -- (I figured) because it was written better

I had not a chance google the text. But yes, it is plagiarism and yes I agree it violates the rules. He wanted to point out that I was giving arpa, darpa, and government scientists too much credit. Our plagiarizing friend apparently does not realize (or wish to acknowledge because of his blindness) that CERN has international "government support," even friendly liaisons with US funding through the visiting scientist's program. He suggests B-Lee invented the WWWeb "despite CERN," when actually it was "because" of CERN's array of internet tcp/ip computer connections to the world on the internet that young B-Lee was able to frame the web with hypertext, though it was not solid enough initially or subsequently to steer a fundamental nuclear research tool from doing its work. Still, because of his talent, CERN supported his work with time and equipment, and a champion among its scientific staff. CERN made it possible, supported it by providing the tools and environment and a programmer's paycheck. In 1987,88,89 -- I was doing some coding, but mostly doing other kinds of work associated with the mission of the federal scientific agency I was working in. Plagiarizing happens a lot, if I have time, I do plenty of flagging. For a bloodless change where the Banks and Cartels would not be involved for a time -- Article V needs invocation.

Internet

Eeyor, if you know so much about the origins of the Internet, why did you plagiarize that entire paragraph on Berners-Lee? I've found the exact text as in your paragraph--word for word--on at least three other Web sites (all of which are anti-government, coincidentally). You know you're not allowed to plagiarize here, right? P.S. Not only did you lift someone else's writing, you took it out of context, which made it incorrect. That's what tipped me off that it wasn't your own comment. I was talking about the origins of the Internet, "your" comment was talking about the World Wide Web. They are NOT the same thing.

Why Stay Then Les?

So I give up then Les,you tell me old sage. Why stay and change a succesful system into a failing one? There are many failing socialist countries you could move to. Where are those that don't want their day to day lives controlled by big government to move to maybe i should ask instead, to accommodate you? You still cannot answer the central question here, you can only point out typos. Why can't you manage your own life? Why is it the responsibilty of the government to engineer your life for you?Put your money here Les.Here's how many people we estimate are in your state Les,so here's the number of delegates you get Les.Doesn't seem the least bit crooked and underhanded to you does it?Or is it that you know it's dirty pool and your fine with it,because managing your life is really too much to handle and best handled by others?Living on the dole suits you just fine, the idea of it just sends Obasmic shivers down your spine. That do little attitude sickens anyone who will to take their own life by the horns and handle it. I'll ask it again so your not sidetracked by an "i" not dotted somewhere or a "t" not crossed. Why do others need to tell you what's best for you and your money? And,do you really think that type of power stops there? Oh and just so you know,on a sidebar....It’s true that the principal inventor of the web, Tim Berners-Lee, was a programmer working at CERN, the huge European particle accelerator. In 1988 he sketched out a way of hooking up hypertext ideas, developed by people like Ted Nelson and Bill Atkinson, to the internet, developed by people like Vint Cerf and Bob Kahn. He talked the idea up at CERN for a year, with no response. In 1989 he wrote up and circulated a formal proposal around CERN. Again, no response for a year. Finally, he coded up a prototype in his spare time. In this, he actually was helped by his manager, who said it was okay if he used one of CERN’s workstations to build the prototype. It was launched to the world about one year later. Berners-Lee didn’t succeed because CERN was doing fundamental research. He succeeded in spite of it. So it was an individual and his ideas after all, crazy. And as for the lightbulb and the automobile,I guess someone should be rushing in to seize any assest Edison and Ford accrued any day now. Your pretty easily sidetracked Les,try to keep it focused this time(no rants about the sun putting the original energy into biofuels, and spelling errors).

Government Research -- doing it right. Not for profit.

The Government has done a lot of the research for most of the things you are worried about -- let's see. There was Manhattan, there was LASL and fast computers that made possible the smaller warheads, there was the whole nine yards of Jason projects and the Web, as Idle points out, from DARPA, you know the guys sponsoring the robot car race. Did the government invent the light bulb? The automobile?Or even the medium you are primatively pecking away at to espouse your ingrained views that you gather from liberal news sources like so many sheep? No. The word I think you mean is "primitively" but they are your words. I was thinking Darwin maybe you meant, as a take off from Primate, as in primat(e)ively pecking. You sound like a renamed Publius, or his girl, at 40? eeyor and in line with the first concept that Lincoln's existence had more to do with your problems in life than anyone else since emancipation was a necessary and over due development in the US. But thinking of what else could have had a consequence in your life -- I had to go back and re-think that proposition. It led me as above to Darwin. Yes, the fact that we pretty-well understand the genetic code for identification purposes has led, because of Darwin and an attempt to grasp the origins of all species -- (Darwin spoke not about origins of homo sapiens, he let others do that.) But having seen the lucky low end of this genetic experiment expressed in you I was wondering if you had ever thought of taking your talent to it's Publius-style-logical-end. Realize that though you probably have come close in living -- in writing you might be material for the Darwin Award (Phil Gramm is prime -- and face it, except for "luck" you have all the qualifications fully exposed.) If you keep this up, here I think you should be nominated for the Darwin Award for Writing! Keep on! The government can and does do definitive research in fields you are not even approaching an awareness of. The reason this can and must be done by government is to get it "right." That is, to leave profit motive and fudging truths out of it. Two Bushes tried to destroy that ability to research and provide the answer. You are still parroting (Squawk squawk) the crap those in government have refuted.

Power siezure? U on the right side?

I never voted for your boy Bill -- though I think he did okay. You clearly know nothing of alternative fuels.

Where do you think the fossil fuels came from? How much energy was required to produce them? From the Sun. This was more than a few million years ago and definitely more than 40. (They are really dirty too.) You do not even grasp the reason we need to use them.

Carbon Tax is the correct approach, not Cap and Trade.

Strong arming Banks?

In a socialist state I would just eliminate your banks. To buy food or fuel, you'd have to use a credit card -- or heck, just bar code your forehead. Scan you and what you got. Your ignorance is impressive.

Actually, it was the congress and McCain's buddy, Texan Republican, Phil Gramm who helped spearhead the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, which allowed those commercial and investment banks like Citigroup, with their hedge and darkside links to more easily merge, hiding the leverage ponzi that evolved with JP Morgan's (JPMChase) invention of the Credit Default Options with their swaps, and their application to the mortgage markets.

They were able to suck AIG in, sell the swaps like peanut butter snacks, with AIG needing rescue when the details of the swaps were becoming apparent.

Paulson sold a lot of bad paper to the Chinese while at Goldman Sachs, and the attempts to spread the hurt around as a fix has worked toward the collapse.

I hope you loaded your 401K with all those goodies and then just watched your account as someone skimmed you. How'd that feel? Phil Gramm helped build the culture you are praising. Control of the Census and the Banks?

Be happy. Don't worry. But that is just my opinion.

As a matter of fact, yes...

"Did the government invent the light bulb? The automobile?Or even the medium you are primatively pecking away at..." As a matter of fact, yes... the U.S. Govt. did invent the Internet. It grew out of the Defense Department's DARPAnet, which was funded by U.S. taxpayers.

Wrong Les

Any prosperity we enjoyed during your hero Bill Clinton's reign was attributable to Ronald Reagan. How long do you think it take a corporation to realize profits, build a new factory and employ thousands of new employees?8-10 years is the answer. That puts it smack in the middle of your last great hopes admin.Strong arming banks and and forcing them to give loans to those that could ill afford it was the job of a liberal organization put forth to garner Democrat votes. Let me ask you something. What has government ever done right that makes you want them in control of your life?Did the government invent the light bulb? The automobile?Or even the medium you are primatively pecking away at to espouse your ingrained views that you gather from liberal news sources like so many sheep? No. I have to search for my news sources Les,the ones available to you all preach the same Kool-Aid soaked drivel.Socializing our way of life is not the answer.Government is not the answer. The dead hand of government kills creativity and invention.Have we come as far as we have with big government leading the way? No.Then what makes you think that's the answer now? The Green Movement is just as much a lobbying organization as Big Oil or Big Tobacco ever was.Wake up.Does it surprise you to know that Al Gore started his carbon offset organiztion just prior to writing his idiotic and unfounded piece garbage.Does it surprise you to know that alternative fuel sources don't produce enough BTUs to get out of it's own way causing us to have to burn twice as much for the same amount of energy?Does it surprise you to know that over half of the scientists he uses as sources for his Nobel Prize winning piec of TP have either recanted or outright denied any part of the thing?I bet it does, those type of things don't get reported by your news sources, doesn't fit their agenda.Where do you think all this power seizure by this administration is headed? For the greater good? For the citizens of this nation? What do you think he's going to do with his control of the census? His control of the banking system? You need to broaden your sources of information beyond what's crammed down everyone's throat by NBC,CBS,ABC and BBC for that matter. That misinformation is unavoidable,we all get a full dose of it every day.The truth, well you have to actually work to find that.Probably too much effort for someone so willing to hand over all his choices and options to others. P.S. I was born and raised in NJ-NY.I know where that mentality comes from and it goes nowhere man, nowhere.

No, not an idiot! Surely,U R in the Low normal range! 70-100!

This is a "waste of time." You should be doing something with your life; writing words you can be certain will deeply touch and affect other people -- because the emotional is your domain not the technical. I'm being charitable, giving you anything between 70 and 100 after your first comments have pegged your span and grasp of the world. Good to see you are reading, which should help with your parrot knowledge -- but likely can't help you grasp complex subjects like climate. You ape: (monkey see, do) How long have we been gathering statistics on things like global temperature shifts and changes? And we are going to extrapolate this small sampling and apply it to ourselves?LOL. That my friend is the action of an idiot. "eeyor," the danger is ahead, not behind. Do you get that? Your grasp is indicated by statements like that. (And you do not get it. I surmise you never will. The difference between what is the past and what is the future are things that the banker skimming from your deposit can hint to you. (He gets more from it than you.) Oh sure, simple things like your retirement 401k and its "growing" value, I'm sure you get that. But not completely, obviously.) How the past and future are related probably just flat escapes you. As an aside: I have constructed an original and pretty interesting table of Earth's 4.567 billion year history reporting what we do know of past climates, temperatures, solar irradiance (insolation) from rock solid evidence and fossils, and can't present it here because of nick's decision to apply severe limitations to what Xomba can present from writers. Can't figure a defense of scripts to allow table and images directly from web. So he has a two or three-step way to get images, but it is clumsy. I'm waiting their "new" new look and abilities, how about you? If xomba would repair their linking ability, or HTML tables usage, I will post it. nick says "soon." P.S. The last great republican was Ronald Reagan. P.S.S. Oh,and what was it that caused the ice to melt 10,000 years ago? That's right,it was those damn wooly mammoths and their factories Much of the current difficulty in the system is attributable to Reagan. During his time the Keating Five, the Silverado S & L, the first legalized thefts by boards of directors. There have been sixty "ice ages" in the last two million years -- according to the University of Illinois and geologist across the world. I don't want to get you into complex area's of thought or research -- so I'll just suggest the beginning of the current interglacial was promoted by orbital, tectonic, and harmonic natural frequencies. We are interfering with that and YOU are a large part of the problem. Write and post something as a xombyte post and get some coin out of it. If you post comments here, it is likely to benefit me more than you. I do not think the Florida System of Education could have helped you. (Oh, you know Jeb's (Bush) brother Neil was trying to sell Florida an educational system and buy into the billions available in education for the Bush friends . . . did that get to first base?) That is a rhetorical question. Create something.

Idiot?

How long have we been gathering statistics on things like global temperature shifts and changes? And we are going to extrapolate this small sampling and apply it to ourselves?LOL. That my friend is the action of an idiot. The recessions i spoke of were in our economy, moron.Ever hear of the The Great Depression in 1846?Of course not. Why?Because it was merely an economic recession brought about by failed ventures and advances in technology of the time not prolonged and irritated by government interference. When all is said and done and this guy we are stuck with has finished grabbing enormous amounts of power(I see he's trying to control the census now....hmmmmm)and nationaizing our banking system(also in the works)somehow "I told you so just isn't going to be enough. These things he's doing have been tried, they failed. You cannot even visit a country like France or Britain without the tour guide prattling on for the majority of the tour about how atrocious health care and taxes are. That is the tour, never mind Big Ben or the Eiffel Tower, here's our legecy, that's what you'll hear. Our founding fathers saw government as necessary evil,to be tempered and minimized.Where you got the idea that it needs to be the be all end all is beyond me.Do you have that much trouble managing you own affairs that you need the Gov to step in and hold your hand every step of the way in life?If so there's a place you can go.Hop on one of the abandoned rafts left on shore around the Florida Keys and paddle south. There will be plenty of people you can ask for course adjustments along the way in passing. P.S. The last great republican was Ronald Reagan. P.S.S. Oh,and what was it that caused the ice to melt 10,000 years ago? That's right,it was those damn wooly mammoths and their factories.

eeyor... The last good Republican was Ike

Of course, your span of time does not include that time, NASA, the Interstate system (Based very loosely on the German Autobahns) for both military and commerce. Countless recessions? Look, dude. It has only been ~10,000 years since the Ice Went Off. I can count that high and it ain't countless. Recessions? How about "government helped out?" How long has there been any government or banks or even money? Are you really, or just pretending to be an imbecile? By the time you type off anything about global warming, it is clear your IQ must be in the low half of the broadest percentile. So you can't help your self. eeyor, you are stunningly and embarrassingly insufficient to note one single statement with a semblance of truth or reality. "Things work in cycles, economies, weather patterns and sadly history.Welcome to The Greater Depression,we have followed the last template to a tee. Another cycle idiot? You have learned nothing in 40 years. You parrot what others tell you without the ability to do something original. You think there are cycles? Sorry. It is clear you don't get it. And likely never will. You are another one needing education. But, I think education fails you. Sorry, some people do not have the equipment or the schematic -- the pathways just aren't there. Nothing Personal.
