Restaurants are the Devil
posted October 22, 2009 - 1:09pmI have been in the restaurant business for a long time and I have always wanted to yell some much needed frustration. This is me yelling.
Why?
Why do people act like they are the only table in the restaurant even when it is really busy?
Why is it that people do not speak to their server like they are a human being?
Why do people not understand that waiter/bartenders do not get paid but a couple bucks an hour and do some of the hardest work ever, yet they still will not tip.
Why can't people understand that when coming into a restaurant that it is not a night club?
Why is it that people think that when they come to a restaurant with a large group they are going to get served/ seated/ waited on as fast as they would if they came with just a couple people. You have more people that equals more time, more work, more orders, more drinks, more servers, more food to cook etc. etc. (These are the real idiots!)
GET A CLUE PEOPLE!

You hit the nail on the head. Unfortunately it is like that everywhere.
