Reverence or comfortability?

Reverence or comfortability?

How often in a day do we tremble?
And tremble for God?

Yet, the God we claim to serve says that “He will instruct him (those who keep the demands of His covenant) in the way chosen for him.”

How many of us are truly hearing a God of this magnitude who demands our fear of him over the fear of this world?
How many of us live in reverence of this Holy God?
How many of us even reference or comprehend or take the time to notice Holiness?

I think the heart of the God we serve does not get angry with every response of apathy we return to Him, but rather, it extends mercy into Hands that long to touch our faces with love.
