[Review] Bioshock

Alright, this game is a game of
horror/mystery. It is set back in the 60’s but under the ocean in this
large vast city called Rapture. It is a FPS but besides the FPS it is a
great suspense game as well.

You do get powers in the game such as electricity and incinerate,
which is fully interactable with anyone on the game. You get your
powers by injecting a syringe of “goo” into your arm which gives you
some pretty great powers, just call yourself an X-Man for now =]

The AI is pretty awesome in this as well. They react to whatever is
going on while your playing. For example if i caught an enemy on fire
it would scream then run and dive into the closest pool of water, if
you zap them with some electricity they start spazzing out and talking
gibberish really fast.

Also the world in this game is interactive with what you do too, say
if i shot electricity into the water, whoever would go in it would be
zapped.

Alright enough of the good, lets get down with the bad.

Some negatives about this game is that it is sorta laggy for being a
new release game, even though it really shouldn’t lag on my setup. Also
the game is pretty dark which i guess improves the scene but i don’t
like it myself. And another thing that makes me sad is that it is
nearly impossible to die.

The Rating:

Pros:

* Graphics are fairly nice.
* Fully interactive world.
* The powers you get are unbelievably awesome.

Cons:

* Its a very dark game which gets annoying to see stuff right.
* Graphics are very good but seems too laggy for what it was.
* Takes 58756879865896 shots or hits to kill you, which I like a challenge and this definitely wasn’t one.

My rating: 3.5 out of 5
