Here's a terrific choice for wallet watchers who don't want to sacrifice any of the three "Cs": comfort, convenience, or cleanliness. This well-priced hotel is located on the quieter side of Waikiki, across the street from the lovely Ala Wai Canal, which is popular with practicing outrigger teams. It's small, quiet, and decidedly unsexy, but it does the trick. The ten story tower features medium sized rooms, most outfitted with a double bed plus a twin (great for small families or shares; you can also opt for two double beds or three twin beds), a bathroom with full tub (uncommon in this price range), Nintendo on the TV, and a lanai with lovely canal and mountain views.
