The Nintendo Wii is the hottest gift this holiday season for the second year in a row. One reason that it is on fire is because you can download (on the Wii) video games from different older systems. Systems like the original Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Turbo-Graphx 16 and the Neo Geo among others.

This feature alone is worth the $250 bucks you have to shell out. Just keep in mind you will need a broadband internet connection.

Unfortunately, when you log into the Wii's shopping channel you don't get to play a demo of these games. All you get is a few screenshots and a short review. Since there is no refund policy you'll want to make sure you purchase and download games that are to your liking. Well have no fear I found a great website that just reviews Virtual Console games.
