Revisit Moby Dick Online with Notes to Help the Reader
Here is a link to the on-line version of Moby Dick by Herman Melville complete with notes to help the reader.
There is also an option to hide the notes but I have to tell you, I appreciate that some of Melville's references are clearly explained...I can get on enjoying the novel instead of looking up words (but I still learn, I promise!)

Never got around to reading it, maybe this will spur me to do so. "Power Moby Dick" -- cute name!
Wonder if any other classics have gotten this treatment?
I'll admit to already gaining better insight to Moby Dick
by reading the annotations with the text than just the text alone. Maybe because I'm older, too. We had to read it in High School. What's up with that? How can a 17 year old appreciate this story??
