Rhoni Reuter, the pregnant girlfriend of former Chicago Bears player Shaun Gayle was found slain Thursday in her Deerfield condominium, the victim of multiple gunshot wounds in a violent attack.

Police discovered the body of Rhoni Reuter, who was 42 and due to deliver in December, in her third-floor residence of the Deerfield Crossing complex in the 400 block of Elm Street after receiving a report of a woman screaming about 7:55 a.m., authorities said.
