Right By My Side (God Version)

This is a favorite poem I wrote, and I re-wrote it to be more for God instead of friends so I hope you enjoy!

When things seem worst, and I'm torn up inside,
I remember that God, is right by my side.
He is there for me, in times of need,
Listens and speaks, and does the deed.
The deed is He helps me, in times of despair,
And deep in my heart, it tells me He cares.
My darkest secrets, into Him I confide,
Because He is my God, who is right by my side.
When God helps me, in cases like that,
I feel I should try and pay Him back.
And I pay Him back with very much pride,
Cause He is my God, who is right by my side.
In this life, the road twists, turns, and bends,
And God keeps me from going down the dead ends.
So when things seem worst and your torn up inside,
Remember that God, is right by your side.
