Rise in Child Abuse Is Worrisome

an ever-increasing share of America's children grow up in homes without both biological parents, hence the risk of child abuse is markedly higher in the non-traditional family structures. The growing abusive-boyfriend syndrome in the families is part of a worrisome trend.
