Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony - TONIGHT!!

The famous Rockefeller Christmas tree in New York City will be lit tonight with a new twist. The lights on the tree have been replaced with energy-saving LED lights. The tree is decorated with 30,000 multicolored lights strung on 5 miles of wire.

This lighting ceremony takes place tonight from 7-9 p.m.

There's more info on the tree lighting here: http://www.xomba.com/rockefeller_center_christmas_tree_lighting_2007_this_wednesday It's being televised live from 8 - 9 pm nationally, on NBC I think. The actual lighting of the tree will take place a few minutes before 9 pm, if you want to skip the music performances, commercials, etc.
