Role of Philselfology in Evaluation in Education: Global Literacy Missions and NCLB-III
posted September 20, 2007 - 1:36amIf the previously discussed patterns has produced some great people, they are non-other than the philselfologers of the subject (e. g. Philosophy, science, math etc.). It is greatness of philselfologers that they have been usually expelled from the modern institutions but still they have been contributing great many discoveries, inventories, research works that are taught in the institutions which expelled them. They usually appear abnormal in the school, college and university, the comment being same for philosophers in particular.
It is not their fault it is the education and method of evaluation in particular that has created this isolation.
It is sad and bad that the modern education system emphasizes creativity, originality and individuality only in salty way because when it increases to some appreciable degree the students are considered abnormal or are made 'normal' by pushing them under the heavy load of curriculum and text books or they are expelled from the institution with grand label of 'Fail' and or "ABNORMAL BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS CLASSMATES, TEACHERS AND OTHER AUTHORITIES" ignoring the bubbling Philselfology, as the schzoid world waiting its way for contribution towards all as present in one (him or her).
These incidents (rather accidents) will either make him or her 'normal' or a good personality will be born with some help philselfologically, the exploring of the schzoid world, which usually seems similar to the Alice and the Wonder Land, which has the same potential though.
The peaceful life and evaluation of person should be unified and our aim is not to condemn the modern education system but to be aware that humanity desperately needs practical and great people. And last few decades of education system needs to be reflected at as the development and progress has been too rapid which is leading to isolation of educated people from society rather than unification with society and thus humanity.
Let us ask ourselves
* Do we evaluate ourselves when we are at home or in the society?
* Are we aware that we are passing through peaks of progress where we need to be evaluated and get it done by people of our circle?
