At nine o'clock your day begins
But I've been up since six
Cleaning clothes and scrubbing floors
Mushing up your weetabix.
I have to empty all the bins
And wash the dishes up
Then I come and bathe you
You are such a mucky pup.
Clothes hanging on the wardrobe
Prepared the night before
I dress you and I feed you
Then clean your mess once more
I put the TV on for you
Though I never get a chance to see
My entire life revolves around you
When do I get some time for me?
I'm dying on my feet now
As dinner time draws near
The supermarket I must go
But I cannot leave you here
We head off at a snails pace
As people stare at you
Knocking tins from aisles onto the floor
More tidying for me to do
Why must you make my life so hard?
It's like this every day.
At four o'clock the door bell rings
My friends asking me to go and play
I'd love to but I have no chance
At least not with you around
I love you but sometimes I wish you'd die
And they'd put you in the ground
I hate myself for thinking it
It's not your fault in any way
But when you go my life starts
Maybe then I'll go and play.
