A Romantic Moment She Would Never Forget -1

It is really surprising how time flies away so soon just when you are really enjoying yourself. She couldn't help thinking this as the evening and the party came to an end too soon. She had really enjoyed each and every moment in His company. She had enjoyed listening to His voice as he chattered on about His life and the things he had been busy with. She did not speak much but listened to every word of His with rapt attention.

Soon, it was time to go. He asked Her if he could walk her home along with her friend and she said "Yes" only too gladly. She also did not want this night to end so quickly, just when she was having such a good time. And who knew when She would get to see Him again! So, saying "Good night" to everybody else She and her friend along with her boyfriend walked out into the night with Him. Since it was very late at night they wouldn't get a taxi to take them home. She did not mind that at all. It would be a long walk home.

She walked beside Him slowly, letting her friend and boyfriend go on ahead of them, as she was in no hurry to reach home. It was a beautiful clear starry night, apart from the stars in her eyes, of course. To add to the romance, there was a full moon in the sky lighting up the path. Oh, it was a heavenly moment, the most romantic moment of her life. She sighed and wished that it would never end!

They both walked silently for a while enjoying each others company and lost in their own thoughts. Then her fingers brushed His hand and he immediately grasped them and held on to her hand giving it a gentle squeeze. She walked hand in hand and felt happy as the warmth of his hand warmed her heart and she looked up into His eyes and smiled.

She also felt a little sad when she remembered that He would go away, yet again, and leave Her all alone. She wanted to hang on to this moment for eternity. But, all good things come to an end and so did that moment, for they had reached their destination far too quickly, She thought. Her friend and boyfriend had disappeared long ago.

It was the moment to say "Goodbye". She turned to Him as He was still holding on to Her hand. He raised Her hand and kissed it softly still not letting it go. Then He looked into Her eyes and said, "I will miss you. Will you write to me?" She felt soft as a jelly inside and couldn't trust herself to say anything, so just nodded Her head silently. At that, He released her hand only to pull her to him and plant a firm parting kiss on her lips. "Goodnight", my dear, He said and turned to disappear into the night....

Romance Part 3

Eagerly Waiting for that! My Xomba Page

Reason for taking off....

Hahahaha...:-)) Yeah, sounds so sadistic, isn't it. But that's how it goes with people who have "distance relationships". Distance makes the heart grow fonder. I am sure, "He" had a very good reason to go...although it may not have seemed that way to "Her"! Haven't you read a book or watched a movie in which the two "lovers" just can't seem to be able to "get together" in one frame for a long time before they are forced to "part" ways again and so they cherish "each and every" moment that they do get together. And we as the audience keep praying that they meet each other and "live happily ever after"! Only, it doesn't always end like that....! Thanks Mia. Get money writing articles on Xomba Here

Romance is

only possible when you really enjoy the person's company. You are right. And it is also an "attitude" to life. Being a child of the '70's era brought a lot of romance into my life. We were literally surrounded by romance in every sphere of life. Movies, musicals, romantic songs of Bollywood (they were the best at that time).....Day dreaming and romanticizing was an integral part of life then. Thanks MJ. I really enjoy romance, and can't imagine life without romance! Get money writing articles on Xomba Here
