A Romantic Moment She Would Never Forget -2

A Romantic Moment She Would Never Forget -2

She just couldn’t stop thinking about Him day and night. He had come into her life like a bolt of lightening and in an instant lit up Her world and just like that bolt of lightening also managed to vanish just as quickly leaving Her in darkness.

She had fallen in love with Him in an instant and now was hopelessly trapped in His web of charm and romance. She loved His smile and the way it lit up His eyes. It was the most charming feature of His personality. He was always so sure and confident about himself and looked very tough and yet She knew that He had a very gentle soul and a very generous heart. Oh, God! Yes....She was hopelessly in love with Him.

She wondered how He felt about Her. Would He also be thinking of Her, the same way that She thought about Him? Would He be dreaming of Her? Did He love her? She suddenly remembered that He had never said I love you (in so many words) to her yet. Should She be worried? She thought back to all the times that she had been with Him. She had definitely enjoyed His company.....but, what she really wanted to know was did He also really enjoy Her company? She shook her head...."Oh, no", she did not want to go down that lane. “Of course He had enjoyed her company”, she told herself ....Why was she being such a fool. She remembered the look in His eyes and reassured herself that eyes can never lie.

Besides, hadn’t He just written His first letter to her, giving her his address and asking her to reply soon as He would be waiting eagerly. She had read the letter probably a hundred times now and it still lay open in her hands as she continued day dreaming. She had read each and every word and sentence to understand what He meant and had also tried to read between the lines.

She had been really happy to find a letter waiting for her that day. Her heart jumped to her mouth and threatened to fall out in its excitement on seeing His handwriting. So, she had waited till she had calmed down, before she opened the letter with trembling fingers to read it in peace. Of course she would reply to His letter. “Why shouldn’t she”, she argued with herself. And at that thought she immediately grabbed a pen and paper and set about writing.....before she could change her mind!

She was equally excited on receiving His second letter, even more so, for He had written that He was coming down and would be seeing her sooooon......!

ou sure do know how to make those cliff-hangers. : ) You do realize your loyal fans are going to be stomping their feet and clapping their hands shouting, "We want more, We want more!" I have been working on patience lately, so I will refrain from such action...for no

Re: Love letters

"All we had were love letters back and forth (no Twitter, no Internet, no email at that time) and I will cherish those forever." That's exactly the era I am talking about here...When there were no "fast communicating" methods other than the "snail mail". However, I find that there was more romance in that "waiting" and "anticipation" of what is to come...Than having instant gratification by talking on the phone, sending SMS, writing e-mails....A letter is something one can keep forever...Along with its many memories. A phone call is soon forgotten... "He kept all of his and I, mine, so we get them out from time to time and read through them to relive those moments." That's exactly the sentiment that I am talking about here...Wow..you are a romantic...Mia. There is no treasure like a "bundle" of Love letters in this world. Thanks a lot for your comment, Mia. Love letters

Love letters hold a special place in my heart and your story here reminds me of that feeling I get about them. I met and married my husband in Europe but we decided to come back to the US when we started having children so I could be near my mom for advice, help, etc. Because of immigration laws, we were separated for about 10 months waiting for all the paperwork to be done and finalized so he could be a legal alien. In the meantime, my daughter was born without him by my side. All we had were love letters back and forth (no Twitter, no Internet, no email at that time) and I will cherish those forever. He kept all of his and I, mine, so we get them out from time to time and read through them to relive those moments. You have accurately conveyed the emotions of someone awaiting a special letter and made me want to get all mine out again! Well done. Peace, Mia NW

Thanks a lot for your comment. Ahhhh...I deliberately left out all those nitty gritty details so that this could have a universal appeal without prejudice...! Remember..these are just romantic "moments"...! But, you are free to fit in any situation, reasons, background etc...that you would care to in your own imagination....See THAT is romance!;-)) Get money writing articles on Xomba Here
