We were speaking of Beowulf
And to me Grendel was the main
But you couldn't see it
We snarled and sloshed our ale
Then Arthur entered the room
And then Tristan, with his love-grin
Lance and Percy and the whole lot
Of ragged men with time to burn
And not a dragon to slay
