Sachin more a burden, than a need for the Indian cricket team

Sachin, a personality full of fame and tremendous milestones achievements and do not need for any introduction to anyone at least in India. A great cricketer of all time and somewhat near to the capabilities of Don Bradman who is considered as the greatest ever messiah of cricket in all time.Well, the Indian origin player has various and quantitatively records under his belt which has been earned with mounting endeavor over the years. Popularly known as “little master” by his fan club everywhere on this planet, the champion has entertained the cricket loving community with his style of playing, noble way of articulating and above of all a great person of moral values who rarely had any controversies connection with himself over his long career.

                                                                           BUT

But in the recent time this respected icon is abysmally failing to meet his hard earned standards of playing. Series after series he has been unable to deliver a good score or sometimes even a little score from his bat and therefore making spectators to loose faith in him. Gone back is the era when he used to win matches single handedly and the fate of the match could solely be make out from what total runs he alone has scored irrespective of the runs made by other players. But now he is not doing justice to the over 1 billion masses of india who cheered so loudly for even the single run he scored which appears as if Dhoni has hit a long six. Few days ago I heard a child saying (sadiya bit gayi hai Sachin ki century dekhe hua.). Spectators now a days does not expect anything considerable from him to make of which could enjoy whole heartedly. The golden era of his splendid performance has already been passed many years back which should be acclaimed by everybody.
People have given him due respect because of his many great innings played at some span of time and honored him with many reputed tags like “little master”, The God of cricket world and now awarded with the prestigious tag of “Sir”. But ladies and gentleman with due respect now I am of the opined that he should step down from his place in the Indian team and vacate it for the one who deserve it more than him. A long time has elapsed since he played a good inning and won match for India convincingly. Why go too far, just take the ongoing India-Australia cricket series in which he is struggling to make runs. As he is near to complete his 17000 runs in ODI, he appears to be playing for amassing runs to achieve his feat than to win the match. Right from the start of this tour he has been finding it difficult to put bat on to the ball and stammering in his playing style. This clearly puts a big question mark over his capabilities. On the other hand, tail enders like bhajji and Praveen seems to be getting great appreciation and acknowledgement for their shots in the middle.
Some people says that his record speak itself. But my answer to those is “Had any of the Australian player would have played that match as played by Sachin they would have outperformed him in every department say in number of centuries, total aggregate or even strike rate ”.But here in India rules for team selection is outdated, preposterous, absurd and weird as the selectors just select him because of past records rather than what he has done for the team winning in the recent past unlike in foreign countries where selectors does not even mind to dump the renown players if he has not performed well in the recent past.
According to me selectors had absolutely done the right thing in the past by not giving any place in the one day side to Ex-captain Sourav Ganguly when his performance fell sharply and finally forced him to quit his cricketing career and so with Mr Dravid. Things have improved since they made their way out of side and making their vacancy to be filled by a more competent and deserving one. So Sachin should take proper learning from these events and must look into the matter seriously whether he is of any worth to he side now. Or he will wait till, when finally selectors lose their patience and show him the way out of Indian side. So Mr you should also accept the truth and say adieu to the cricketing career and vacate your space to the one more of worth to it. Enough is enough and this country cannot bear any more to you. Consider my suggestions carefully, as I am your admirer and well wisher.
