Man, I know I've said it many times over in just these past two days but to catch you up, I'll say it again. I hate politics!

I asked my good friend and co-worker today, "Why are we wasting time and money on a trial for Saddam Hussein"? her answer was that although the man in question was grossly inhumane, we are a nation who prides itself on being fair and humane.

I say BS! The purpose of a trial is to prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that a person is guilty of a crime. Innocent until proven guilty, right? Well, hell. How much more of a waste can it be to take an evil son of a B*#@tch like Saddam, who is well documented to be the most inhumane, murdering incarnation of evil we have seen since the likes of Adolf Hitler and allow that man due process? I can't stand it! We already know he's guilty. The only person that will say he is innocent is Saddam himself and we all know evil lies.

I say this...he started his regime by murdering over 60 business and political leaders in his country because they were not behind him. He called them traitors at his own inauguration and had them escorted out by militia and shot in the head by the few remaining men he considered loyalist. His reward to these fearful men who probably only proclaimed their loyalty out of fear was to allow them to be the executioners of the traitors (who were fellow colleagues up until that point). What a reward eh?

Saddam systematically killed innocent civilians by the bus load and committed mass genocide on the northern Kurds, women, children and elderly alike with chemical bombs. We already know he did these things. They have been documented, sometimes by the murdering SOB himself (for entertainment purposes later or to strike fear in the hearts of anyone else who might consider going against him). We do not need need a trial to ensue endlessly while someone tries to defend his actions now. There is no defense! He cannot be rehabilitated, nor can a jail term be enough for what he has done.

My answer to this is simple. He should die a slow and painful death which should be well documented and publicized for the benefit of the family members of those he so callously killed. It will be there closure.

Take him outside, beat him till he's black and blue. Take him into a maximum security prison for a week with the sodomites. If he survives that, hang him outside publicly by his wrists, which should be tied behind his back and blindfold him. Leave him there, painfully hanging in the elements without food or water for at least three days. If he does not have the good grace to die after all that, then take him out to the dessert, like he did to countless innocent men and women, tape grenades to his body, walk a safe distance away, with cameras rolling and DETONATE!

I would gladly pay for the grenades rather than allow that rotten, evil excuse for a person to have the privilege of a trial while he gets to have three meals a day and a place to sleep. He deserves only as good as he gave. And eye for an eye. That's what he lived by. That's how he should die.

I know I sound a little bloodthirsty but I honestly can't believe how ridiculous our legal system is sometimes. I know it's not just us involved in the trial but the Arabic community also. However, I just don't see the point in prolonging the inevitable. Saddam Hussein must die. The sooner the better so we can all move on.
