Salvation
posted July 18, 2009 - 3:06pmIf you haven't accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, And would like to, I would like to give you the opportunity to do so. All you have to do is confess by mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Saviour and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. Also, confess your sins and repent, you will be saved. Thats it, this is all God is asking you to do to be saved.
No matter who you are or what you have done, I don't care what people have said about you, God still loves you. The devil is only here to kill, steal, and destroy. He is the one who wants to see you suffer and unhappy. And the only way you can get to heaven and see the Father is through Jesus Christ, the name above all names.
God is a forgiving and merciful God and he wants to show us how much he loves us. For God so loved us that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Now tell me, who do you know that would give their only son to save the world?
Please say a short prayer with me,
“Dear Father in Heaven, I realize that I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins [wrongdoings]. I am willing to turn from my sins and lead the life you want me to lead. I now ask Jesus Christ to come into my heart and I receive Him into my life as my personal Savior. I am willing, by God's grace, to follow and obey Christ as the Lord of my life. Please forgive me for my sins and save me”

I totally agree with you, and i have to say Amen. As the word says be doers of the word and not hears only. Studying the bible will profit you nothing unless you apply, and do what you read, and what the Lord commands us to do.

Making Jesus Christ "your Lord" is more than just 'kneeling by your bed before you go to sleep and telling Him He's better than President Obama,' it's LIVING HIS COMMANDMENTS! Lifting Your Cross and Following Him!
"Repenting" is more than just 'saying you're sorry and never doing the bad thing again'; it's ELIMINATING THE DESIRE to 'do the bad thing again.'
And how do you ELIMINATE THE DESIRE? By filling your mind with the patterns of Scripture!

This is something that I have done myself. I have prayed and accepted Jesus as my Savior. It is the most important thing I have ever done in my whole life. God is so good! Thank you for sharing this post and the salvation prayer.
