Madison Square Garden has been host to many heavyweight battles over the years and there's another one coming up on March 10th... except that it's not a boxing match. It's a tennis battle between the two best players of, well, maybe of all time: Pete Sampras vs. Roger Federer in a match called "The NetJets Showdown."

Sampras already beat Federer in an exhibition match in the last year. And the once-invincible Federer has gotten a couple of other chinks in his armor this year, losing in the Australian Open and getting bounced out of a tournament just the other day.

These two players have won 26 Grand Slam titles and 500 weeks at No. 1. And on March 10th they'll be playing each other. You can view details and watch highlights from the careers of Sampras, Federer, and other tennis greats at the Madison Square Garden Web site.

So Sampras vs. Federer at Madison Square Garden should be quite an entertaining match. It's been sold out for a long time, but I'm sure at some point it will be broadcast on TV, even if it's pay TV. I'll definitely be interested to see how this one turns out.
