Samuel Peter vs Vitali Klitschko WBC heavyweight Championship Boxing

What a boxing fight it was!!! After 8 rounds of heavy-weight boxing, Vitali Klitschko won the WBC Champion, a championship that he never lost.

As Samuel Peter heard the news that former champion Vitali Klitschko had signed to face him on October 11 2008 at Berlin, he said “Come and get the punishment you deserve so I can get your little brother next." But it was Samuel Peter who took the punishment. Vitali Klitschko dominated the fight right from the 1st round. He won all the 8 rounds. And at the end of the 8th round Samuel Peter gave up and Vitali Klitschko became the World Champion for the third time.

Vitali came to the ring after a 4 year absence. He had to recover from many injuries. But he boxed as he was never away from the ring. It was a great fight. Samuel Peter had no chance at all. Considering his health, actually it was right from Peter Samuel to give up. But for the boxing fans it was a little disappointing. Anyway Vitali Klitschko is the new WBC Champion.

It was always the dream of Klitschko brothers to become champions at the same time. With this win from Vitali their dream came true. Vitali’s brother, Wladimir Klitschko is the IBF and WBO Heavyweight Champion.
