San Diego Chargers vs San Francisco 49ers NFL Preseason Football Tonight 10:00PM EST

The San Diego Chargers (2-1-0) meet the San Francisco 49ers (2-1-0) tonight at 10PM. This is one of three games that will be played tonight. I am picking the Chargers to win tonights game based on the following two points:

1. The Chargers would like to get starting wide reciever Vincent Jackson some work tonight after he made his first preseason appearance against the Seahawks on Monday. Jackson played well for the Chargers down the stretch in 2007, and should be one of there main players this year.

2. The Chargers also need Jamal Williams to step up, he is arguably the best defensive player on the field. Williams has not played in the preseason and coach Norv Turner would love to get him into the game. He is coming of off injury rehab so therefore his play might be limited.

I also think that the San Diego Chargers are the best team in the AFC Western division. The Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs are amongst the weakest teams in the league and the Denver Broncos are probably the most overrated team in the league.
