The Sand Dollar by Fifi Leigh is a fictional memoir. The main character narrates her 9-year journey as she slowly moves toward her destination through an unclear pathway filled with obscurity and confusion. Although the story is fiction, it is inspired by real people and real life situations, but the names have been changed and the characters fictionalized. The story is filled with adventure of fashion modeling, traveling, a ghost, surreal dreams, crazy psychos and eerie psychics. But the novel is written in a blunt and sarcastic tone, and it is light and entertaining.
