Santa Cruz "Bonny Doon" Fire Update : Emergency Declared in California

A state of emergency has been called in California after roughly more than 2,000 residents were evacuated from their homes since August 13, 2009, after a wild fire continued to burn in Bonny Doon, California in Santa Cruz County. Areas on Last Chance Road, Swanton Road, Warrella Truck Trail and Rancho del Oso were evacuated after the fire had grown more since the last three days.
