Sarah from Alaska
posted November 3, 2009 - 4:49pmThe Early Show today November 3, 2009 featured two CBS news embedded reporters involved in covering the Vice Presidential campaign. Of course since the Early Show airs on CBS the reporters Scott Conroy, and Shushannah Walshe were obviously biased in the covering of this books recent release, but none the less this doesn't make the book a good read for those of us who like to track historically significant events.
Juicy tidbits they dished up on the Early Show include the internal war that went on between the John McCain staffers, and the Sarah Palin staffers. Conroy tells CBS "Early Show" co-anchor Harry Smith that McCain's campaign leaders were "terrified that she would embarrass John McCain, even after the campaign had officially ended."
On Governor Palin's much-publicized expensive campaign wardrobe, Conroy and Walshe say the former Alaska governor was actually talked into by staff members into wearing clothes she was uncomfortable in.
"People blamed her for all the spending that went on. But really, she was one of the only people in the room that said, hey, this stuff is too expensive," says Walshe.
I guess for the other tidbits you will just have to read the book. Order information below from Amazon, just click on the link below.

On Sarah!
She got a raw deal form the "Good Old BOYS club", and I do emphasize the word Boys. It makes me sick we have too many boys running our country instead of MEN! Too bad all the idiots didn't put as much effort into ending the war, as they did picking on Sarah!
