No woman has dominated the news like Sarah Palin during the past year since John McCain made the startling announcement she had been selected as his Vice Presidential running mate. It was if a sonic boom exploded especially in the liberal dominated media. The soon-to-be-ex Republican Governor was catapulted from the obscurity of Alaska's frozen tundra into not merely a temporary political sensation but full blown media superstar.

Reaction was immediate. The far right embraced her with adoration due to her unwavering commitment to conservative ideology. Liberal conservatives viewed her with suspicion because she is an outsider to elitist party circles. The radical hatred reacted with a hatred akin to a rabid Michael Moore and set about trying to destroy her. The vast American population saw Palin and fascinating and entertaining with her funny manner of speech, trademark glasses and fashion sense spawning a million jokes.

Sarah Palin was great copy and livened up what was already a heated election. It is an undeniable fact the media attacked Palin with a vindictive viciousness unprecedented in Presidential elections but that kind of thing happens in political battles. The Governor withstood most of the media attacks and it was probably her own party actually damaging her campaign effectiveness.

The democratic-socialist-radical left Obama machine won the election and now control American government in a headlock reducing Republicans to mere bystanders. Her time in the spotlight over, Palin should have faded away to Alaska where she can shoot moose and drive sled dogs in peace. That is what happens to failed Vice Presidential running mates. Who remembers who ran with John Kerry, Al Gore and Bob Dole?

But a funny thing happened. Palin has not gone away and continues generating news and the wild aspect is she is not guilty herself of generating a lot of it. The media, in particular the liberal media, is obsessed with Palin. Apparently she is good copy and comedic fodder. The right continually yaps about Palin being a potential Presidential candidate in 2012 but no one pays attention to their small voices.

It is the radical left and liberal media who are consumed by Palin. Possessed by hatred of her. When Palin's daughter Bristol hit the media trail promoting teen abstinence, it was seized as an opportunity to humiliate her mother. The break up of Bristol and her child's father was used to embarrass the family. Palin and daughter Willow attending a Yankee game for autism turned into a much ballyhooed David Letterman joke.

Why is this? The election is over. Why continue kicking a loser? Hello! News flash to CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, ABC News, NBC News, Boston Globe, "The View" especially Joy Behar and David Letterman: YOU WON!!! YOU ARE THE VICTORS!!! YOUR MAN IS IN THE WHITE HOUSE!!! YOUR DREAM OF AMERICA BECOMING A SOCIALIST STATE IS COMING TRUE111 So why continue hassling Palin when there are new targets to focus on?

One answer is self interest. An appearance by Palin or a Palin family member must spike TV viewership. For a camera hog like Behar, ranting about Palin provides the attention she craves. When internet bloggers and radicals spew venom on Palin, they receive the desired hits. Letterman milked his joke controversy for all it was worth in the name of ratings. He finally beat "The Tonight Show" for the first time in 17 years. So all these folks employ Palin bashing in pursuit of their own agendas.

That is merely surface exploitation. The real force fanning the flames of Palin hatred is the radical left machine led by Obama and his billionaire supporter George Soros whose minions perform the dirty work. Why bother obsessing over a loser in Alaska? Are they not in absolute power and control of the country? One can only surmise feelings of insecurity in victory and fear. Yes, fear of Sarah Palin. Of what she may accomplishment is she ever gets her act together.

Sounds preposterous even ridiculous but what other explanation can there be? Believe it or not, there are sound reasons for Palin to be feared. Palin possesses a charisma that resonates with millions in a manner mirroring Obama's and he is an arrogant man tolerating to challenge to his stardom. Speaking of men, the American male is sexist at heart and fears a string woman being in charge. Hillary Clinton found that out. Liberal and radical women are furious over the concept of an ultra conservative pro life anti-gay marriage female becoming the most powerful and influential woman on earth.

The Democratic Party worries Palin can unite the GOP, the undecided and independents. Palin is a very attractive woman, at ease speaker with a folksy charm and that is intimidating. Compare Palin to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Democrats have every reason to worry.

Then came the eleven page assault on Palin in Vanity Fair. The weird thing is the writer went on and on about how hot and sexy Palin is in between his unsubstantiated attacks. Are radicals secretly hot for the woman and it scares them?

The strategy to defuse the threat is continuing the hate, defamation and ridicule. Wrong. You fell into the trap of giving Palin what she wants when you gave wall to wall hate coverage of her resignation announcement. How stupid can the dems, libs and rads be? All they are accomplishing is generating publicity and sometimes sympathy for Palin. The Letterman fiasco backfired and gained more support for Palin while making the left look bad. Her resigning the Alaskan governorship should have been played down instead of providing her endless publicity. Stupid. The best tactic to make Palin vanish into the Alaskan wasteland is to ignore her. Stop making her a news fixture. Stop the jokes. Stop Tina fey. Treat Palin as if she does not exist.

But you won't. When she promotes her book, hits the speaking circuit and starts fund raising, you will be suckered again into giving her headlines and airtime.

As long as the left maintains its anti-Palin campaign they are playing into her hands by keeping her name and face in high visibility mode. The left is campaigning for her. How many supporters did she gain thanks to Letterman? The GOP says thank you and keep it up because the Palin obsession distracts the media from what may be brewing within the Republican Party.

Somewhere in the GOP, there is an unknown viable Presidential candidate quietly building a campaign under the radar and that is the most dangerous type of candidate. Think Obama who just two short years ago was an unknown Illinois senator. Hillary Clinton was a woman reviled and routinely attacked by the right was top Presidential contender. Wise up, you lefties or else you will get snake bit like the right in 2008.

So are you a Palin hater or Sarah lover? Reality is most of America could probably care less and tired of hearing about her.
