There's been a lot of talk about McCain's choice for Vice-President which up till Bush's term the vice-president has been powerless.

Only in the last 8 years has the Vice President really had an active role in setting a course for the country.

Enter Sarah Palin the redneck, backwoods religious nut from Alaska. Even McCain is trying to figure out what his campaign is doing. Everyone knows that this election is Obama vs. Obama. Palin's hat toss was unnecessary and a slap in the face to the American public. Sure, sure the media is spinning it that she is some shining hope and they are trying to make a big deal out of the polls, but honestly most people are cringing with this pick.

I see Xomba's recent contest was about which fictional character a person might want to be. Well Palin definitely seems to be Dolores Umbridge.

These two have much in common.

In the next few days take a couple of hours and watch Harry Potter and the Order Of The Phoenix. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
