Sarah Palin to Resign: Time For The Barracuda to Pass The Ball
posted July 3, 2009 - 4:05pm3 July, 2009
WASILA, AK- The Governor of Alaska, and former Vice Presidential candidate, Sarah 'Barracuda' Palin announced today that she would be stepping down. Making the announcement from outside of her Wasila, Alaska home, Palin said that she'll be resigning on July 26th. Alaska Lieutenant Governor Sean Parnell will take over as head honcho in Alaska.
My guess is that Palin will probably make more money on the speaking circuit than she could as Governor. Add in the book deal or two or three and she's sitting pretty..no pun intended. Perhaps these factors could have been cause for her decision to step down. Just a thought.
Good to know that she'll have more time to spend with family.. out enjoying the Alaskan scenery and kicking orphaned wolf cubs. Maybe now that she has a passport, she can take some time to get out and see the world.
