Sarah Palin Won VP Debate, 'OBiden' Lost
Sarah Palin won the VP debate last night, endearing herself to the American public with her down to earth demeanor and straight forward answers.
Sarah Palin, stole the show covering all subjects such as Iraq, Wall Street crisis, Afghanistan, Iran, Israel and Darfar and warmed with the American people. Sarah Palin proved to the American people that she was more than just a pretty face, there is an intelligent mind at work behind her designer glasses, a mind and heart that has the American peoples best interest at the forefront.
Sarah Palin held her own against the Washington insider, Joe Biden, and Palin gave Biden a few knock downs during the course of the VP debate.
The one moment that Joe Biden will never recover from during the VP debate was when Sarah Palin had what appeared to be a Freudian slip- Sarah Palin called him 'OBiden'.
Joe Biden will now be known as 'OBiden', nothing more than a mini-Obama, a puppet on a string, while Sarah Palin will be known as the winner of the VP debate of 2008.

Sorry
I don't think she came close to winning. She often didn't answers the questions - One time she even told the mod that she wasn't going to answer the question. She was quick to point to Obama not funding the troops when McCain did the exact samething, Biden pointed that out to her and rather than contradict his statement she ignored it and restated the Obama not funding the troops.
Biden slammed her and McCain economic policy and health care to which she had no answer other than the company line. She was not well versed in the specifics of their policy and could not respond when attacked. Biden was and did.
Sorry, Palin did not win, she did not endear herself to me. I thought she was lost, tried to sound too "down home" and was in no way ready to be on that stage. I think she did about as well as can be expected but, again, I would not call it a win by any means.
By the way here is a UPI report saying she didn't win.

In what world other than Partisanrepublican World did she?
Even her attempted slam of Obama "not funding the troops" has been long discredited by media watchdog groups. The spending bill in question did not have a timetable for troop withdrawal, which had been removed at the request of Bush and by senate Republicans, so Obama did not support it without timetables. That is not nearly the same thing as "not funding the troops".
Palin's foreign policy experience comes solely from her living in proximity to Russia--from the Couric interview. Anything else that comes out of her mouth regarding foreign policy is coaching (read: rote memorization of party rhetoric) and not personal knowledge.
Sarah Palin is a Pet Rock: a novelty in the election who is being used to by the McCain camp as an "object" to distract us from asking the real hard questions about his plans for the country. Women should be outraged by Palin because she is disempowering them and setting back women's rights by decades.
DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?
Palin foreign policy
Well stated. It's my observation that most Xombies have more foreign policy experience than Palin, but I'm not ready to vote any of you into office.

Damn!
Just when I was going to accept Nader's offer! :)
What I took away from the
What I took away from the debate...
Joe Biden is a damn liar and he has no problem defending the indefensible.
Another thing I took away from the debate...
Most people watching it aren't informed enough to see through the lies and mischaracterizations. And many more don't understand the philosophies that are right for this country and which ones are wrong - like the difference between capitalism and socialism or individual liberty vs. oppressive state control.
Declaring a winner or loser by the people who think socialism is good or who don't know when a candidate is lying (or worse - doesn't care), is not the best way to determine the outcome. In my opinion, Joe Biden's performance was an embarrassment to the entire debate concept/system. He would have been kicked off a high school debate team.

Agreed
I would agree with you. I have no idea if Biden lied or not. And I would also agree that the debating in general sucked and has for a long time. But, Palin did nothing to throw Biden under the bus - she should've said something like "that's bs Biden and here is why". She never did that, she just spewed out the McCain lines and stuck to them as best she could. She doesn't know what she is talking about yet. She was in no way ready for that debate. Throw a Romney, Guilliani or even Thompson up there and they probably would've destroyed Biden.
There were times where she
There were times where she stuck it to Biden, but the average viewer won't recognize those times and Biden said his favorite line: "It's just not true." But in fact, it was.
These "debates" aren't really debates. But when you have to repeatedly lie to defend your position in order to not lose, then what's the point of debating in the first place? Why not just give each candidate 45 minutes to tell the American People about their plans for when they get into office? It's still going to be a bunch of lies, but at least we won't have to listen to the back-and-forth distortions or the stupid moderator questions.

Sarah reached those who still think with their heads
Sarah was again Sarah and she reached all the people who use their own head to think and who don't blindly follow the media instructions. Thank God there are still millions of people who have common sense to see that S.Palin is on our side. She has courage, integrity, honesty and faith, she is the answer to our prayers! S. Palin will be a great VP!
Biden was good, as is expected, he is another smooth talking lawyer who spent 35 years in politics and had his time to change all that was and still is wrong in Washington.
Well, it's time for a hard working Palin to change this country and lead us in to a better future, America we used to be who put trust in God and didn't denied it. Voting for McCain and Palin is not saying we agree with Bush's administration, far from that! He made enough mistakes that we don't need one more. Palin is the perfect choice to bring McCain support he needs to be our next President and finally the White House will have people who don't say one thing, think other, and do the third.
