I have gone through the view points observed on failure of corporate governance in context of SATYAM. All are shocked & in despair after knowing that they have been cheated in someway. We as professionals, also feel cheated as it means a big dent to the image that India, our country, has portrayed as trustworthiness.
If we start the blame game then definitely Mr Raju is not the main culprit. Perhaps no one never ever tried to dig the fact of the matter in any case & that open up in a scam/scandal like these and government agencies formed committees with likes of Mr. N R Narayan Murthy and Mr. Ajim Premji to know the exact value (although they might be aware of all !). Governance mechanisms like RTI and whistle blower should have come to the rescue of the management rather than doing a post mortem activities and getting blame for being part of this heinous activities.
