Massive Hunting Brings Dall's Porpoise Near Extinction!
SPREAD THE WORD AND HELP SAVE THE DALL'S PORPOISE
Dall’s porpoises are charismatic creatures, they are often seen bow riding boats and are key attractions for whale watchers, however their playful interest in humans has lead to their demise.
Dall's porpoises are the most exploited of any whale, dolphin or porpoise species in the world. Since 1980 over 400,000 Dall’s Porpoises have been killed in Japanese hunts.
The problem is that very few people are aware of the plight of the Dall’s porpoise, as a result their slaughter continues.
EIA is the only group investigating this we have released a video documenting the Dall's porpoise hunt and with your help we intend raise awareness of this slaughter.
Once you have viewed the video please help us raise awareness by forwarding it to as many people as you can, encouraging them to do the same.
Dall’s porpoises are slaughtered because most people are unaware of the hunt, with the whole world watching them this hunt will be unable to continue and numbers can recover ensuring the survival of the species.
